Mark Plewis’ dad died last night. Mark has been with Rhubarb Media before it started. A great artist and friend. We pray for peace for he and his family.
Mark, there are no words, just grateful hearts for the 63 years he lived and the good times you’ve had. He must have been a great dad to be able to shape you into who you have become. We miss you around the studio.
From Mark’s Facebook post…
“My father died tonight. He was a wonderful man. Words cannot express how I feel right now. I will miss him. I am grateful that I was able to talk to him and say what I needed to before he died. He deserved better. He was only 63. Goodbye Dad. I love you.,

Sometime it feels like this…

After a few years working with American Independent Media in the US, Rhubarb Media (their creative wing) is now working on re-branding and developing the web for the Post 9-11 GI BILL – as well as all the marketing collateral for print, web and video. The latest fun is joining NASCAR as the The Post 911 GI BILL is Sponsoring the Race for the Sept 11th Weekend in Richmond VA. Rhubarb Media has worked with TRG in developing the car, trailer, the weekend logo and all the track creative. Join the Tour to the race! I will be down at the race, so look forward to some cool pics and vids.

Ever since the beginning of PRC, (Pregnancy Resource Centre) Rhubarb Media has been there, creating their logo and marketing material, and finally developing their new website!
Our Friend Jordon came up to do some mobile app training with us and brought his new “toy.”

Rhubarb Media creates a last minute graphic the Post 9-11 GI Bill for Bobby Lebonte’s #71 Car for the NASCAR season. Back TV Panel and side quarter panels. Logo’s a bit cut off in this pic.? But we’ll post more as the season goes. All this through our affiliate companies, American Independent Media and Brightline Interactive. Start your engines!
This is a full page ad we created for the back page of the NAVY magazine Surface Warfare on behalf of the VA (Post 9-11 GI Bill). Next issue to be printed
Special props go out to Josh Shirlen for the amazing last minute photo shoot, which included hair, makeup and wardrobe. No stock pics here! The “Duty Degree, Dream” was one of our original ideas when we comped some ads for the VA a while back. Nice to finally see them live! All this work has come through our associates in MD at American Independent Media

Moving Art has been in our family ever since coming back to Barrie in 2007. The staff and facility are tops! Led by the incredible and talented Director, Carla Tucker they have a great reputation for those that know. But, we found MA never got the spotlight they deserve in this city rich with theatre companies. We decided to sponsor them and though some barter to offer them the site they deserved. This site is packed full of pics, events, and information. Spread the word and we look forward to a great run for one of Barrie’s best Dance, music and theatre studios.

Moving Art Centre new Web Site

It’s been about 9 months in the making and yes, in the last minutes of the launch, it kinda did feel like birth! In association with American Independent Media we helped re-brand the Post 9/11 GI Bill and launch their new website today! Special thanks to Erik from Brightline Interactive, whose team went above and beyond helping with design and data scraping. This is phase one – phase 2 comes in May…stay tuned!
A special thanks to Mark and Tyler who put in many hours to see this go live!
