Things we worked on:
WEB DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT, MAPPING, MOBILE
The app is getting great feedback. Everyone seems to be very impressed and we have gotten some amazing media coverage. It was a pleasure working with Rhubarb. Chad and his team acted as project partners during the entire process, keeping us involved and informed. Their work exceeded expectations and we look forward to partnering on the next phase of our map/site. I would recommend Rhubarb Media to anyone looking to stand out online. Brendan Cycle Simcoe

BACKGROUND
The Simcoe County Alliance To End Homelessness (SCATEH) is a local movement to prevent and end homelessness in Simcoe County, through coordinated strategies, advocacy and awareness.
BACKGROUND
The David Busby Street Centre is a grass roots not-for-profit organization that provides support for community members that are experiencing homelessness and poverty or maybe at risk of becoming homeless.
Things we worked on:
BRANDING, WEB DESIGN, PRINT MEDIA, ADVERTISING, MARKETING, PR
We have been fortunate to work with Rhubarb Media on an ongoing basis over the past 5 years. They volunteer their time and expertise to support; the rebuilding of our website, www.busbycentre.ca, (now re-developed by others) the design of printed materials that are used to support our fundraising and our communications and awareness-building campaigns. All of the support we receive from Rhubarb Media assists in the organic development of a brand that presents a consistent message in all of our social media, printed materials and outreach programs. In many instances these materials are used to connect with donors and members of our community enabling us to increase the contributions that go directly to serving community members that are supported by the centre.
Chad Ballantyne, the owner of Rhubarb Media, has often shared with our organization that we need to shift our focus from a ‘flies in eyes’ world viewpoint to a viewpoint of sharing a story about the needs of individuals and their journey to maximize their potential. Chad works diligently with the staff at the David Busby Street Centre so that we have been able to easily shift our communication strategy to reflect a positive message of the hope and support that we provide to individuals and families experiencing homelessness and poverty.
To quote Chad directly, ‘…we have to start at home by empowering our children to believe that we can never be great by ourselves but that greatness is measured by the quality of life we make possible for everyone else.’

BACKGROUND
The Barrie Public Library is one of the busiest spots in the city, with over 3000 people a day coming through their doors. Patrons visit them to check out leisure reading materials, participate in programs, use library services for help with homework, and more!
At the heart of every great city is a great library. The place to learn, meet others, study with and be inspired. Barrie’s library website was in a state of “funk” for many years and with the increased need to serve our ever-increasing digital culture, it was time to catch up! Throughout a series of gatherings and an awesome team effort, we developed a great tool for them.

BACKGROUND
Talk Is Free Theatre is based in Barrie, Ontario. The company was founded in 2002 by Artistic Producer Arkady Spivak and since then has staged over sixty productions. Their mission is to produce and develop a wide range of ensemble-based programming, concentrating largely on new writing, rediscoveries of neglected work from the past and drastic re-examinations of classical repertoire.
We were approached by TIFT in 2012 to become one of their media sponsors. Knowing the calibre of their work, we were happy to provide them with the same unique offering of website and marketing materials.
