Mike Douglas

Mike Douglas

BACKGROUND

Mike came to us to brand him as a different kind of realtor.  Through research, meetings, and surveys we came up with this unique traditional-looking logo.  We research the Douglas family heritage and found it’s Tartan.  Mike wanted to be known for being trusted and passionate about family, heritage, and home.

The tartan swatch evokes these characteristics while setting him apart from the plethora of same old colours traditional seen in real estate brands.

Maven Commercial Real Estate

Maven Commercial Real Estate

BACKGROUND

Stephanie Maye came to us to name her new commercial real estate company.  After extensive research, meetings, and surveys we came up with MAVEN.  One thing that sent us in this direction was a simple question and her answer.  “What do you want to be known for?”  Stephanie said, to be seen as wise and trusted.

The word maven comes from the Yiddish meyvn, meaning “one who understands.” But to be a maven you have to more than just understand a topic, you have to know its ins and outs. Often mavens are the people that you turn to as experts in a field.

Combined with her last name Maye, we found a perfect candidate.

The brand itself needed to be simple and not cluttered with an extra symbol or icon.  The addition of the horizon line was all we needed to complete this iconic and timeless brand.

5×5

5×5

The Town of Collingwood asked Rhubarb Media in partnership with the Creative Space Barrie and Collingwood to design, plan and host an innovation event in Collingwood.  The idea was to be a fast-paced presentation highlighting the talent in the region.

5X5 is is a high energy “TED Talk” style event/ innovator’s forum presented by The Creative Space Collingwood and partners, in order to shine a spotlight on local innovators and companies. 5×5 is like a microphone turned up loud and clear and offers the opportunity for companies to showcase their stuff, share success and challenges they are having while connecting with potential investors, partners employees and customers.
